The array shown here runs all-black modules across the main south face of a foothill home. The storage build at our second Altadena job pairs two Tesla Powerwalls — photographed mid-install, wiring exposed, before covers and final dress — enough capacity to carry a home through an extended shutoff, not just an evening peak.
Altadena is SCE territory, and parts of the foothills sit in elevated fire-threat zones where public-safety power shutoffs are a real consideration and storage incentives can apply.
